I'm Not Happy with My Service Now What ? A Good Contractor will Work with You, Return Your Calls & Correct Issues. Any One can have a Bad day but when Service becomes Unreliable, Not up to Promised or just Shabby than maybe a Change is due.... This is a Service Industry, if You receive Bad service at a Restaurant or Store and the Owner did not correct the issue ..... Why would you go Back if Your Not Happy? Hire a Professional Service GAIN YOUR WEEKENDS BACK USE YOUR FREE TIME AS FAMILY TIME I Called a Company an They Seem Good should I hire Them? Your decision should be based upon their Legal Paper-Work, Initial Opinion, References which should include Photo's, Variety of Service's Offered & Reliability. Price Should NOT Be the Only Issue. Should I Care if My Lawn Service is Licensed , Insured & has Workman's Compensation? YES YOU SHOULD! If They Do Not have It than they are Not Liable for Unsatisfactory Work & Damages which may occur on YOUR Property or the Neighbors Property The Reason is to Eliminate Liability take on by the Property Owner .... in other words if they get hurt With Out It YOU can be SUED! Also by Florida LAW any business with More than 3 Employees MUST have Workman's Comp ...... DON'T Take Their Word For It .... ASK to See the Paper Work a Good Contractor will have this on Hand. How Come Your Services Cost More than the Other Guy? Fantasy Lawns carry's $1,000,000.00 in Liability Insurance on our Service .... We have Commercial Insurance on our Work Vehicles .... We DO Carry State Workman's Compensation Insurance ... We DO Pay Local, State and Federal Taxes. As a License Professional, we are unable to provide prices comparable to operations without such protection, nor do we wish too. The personal liability these operations place on the customer is not worth the risk of injury on one’s property or damage that may occur. Furthermore the legal labiality is not worth state & federal penalties, as many have no liability insurance or legal licensee to operate in Brevard County and many do not pay Federal Income tax or State property taxes. As a Legal Operation with a Trained Uniformed Staff.... All Payments are made out to Fantasy Lawns Inc., of which We Pay our Federal Income & Payroll Taxes, State & Local Taxes, Liability Insurance & Workman's Compensation ..... We use top of the line equipment, usually turned over every 2 years....... Compare our prices to a competitor whom has the same Legal Paper work as we have.... Workman's Compensation is Not required if a service has less than 3 Employees, BUT this does not Reduce the Liability if some one gets hurt! "The Sour Taste of Poor Quality Last much Longer than the Sweetness of a Cheap Price"
Check this LINK for Insurance Liability when Hiring a Lawn Service Contractors, such as builders, landscapers, or other trades people whom work on or around your home, should be covered through their own (mandatory) workers' compensation insurance, and any injury claims would be covered under that policy. If, for some reason, the contractor does not have coverage or has discontinued the policy to save on the premiums, you would be next in line to pay for a worker's injuries and/or disabilities that occurred on your property (although you may be able to file a lawsuit against the contractor). So What do I Get With a Monthly Service ? Your should receive 42 visits per Year. Weekly April thru October and Every Other Week November thru March; even if it doesn't need to be mowed in December or January your Contractor should at least come by to make sure it's looking Great, Stick edge & Weed Whack, Picking up Debris, Blow off the Cement etc. How & When Should I make Payment ? Payments should be by Check and made to a Company & not "Cash" ...... Ask to See the Federal Tax Id ...... if they don't have one they may be operating Illegally .....Normal Payments should be After the 2nd or 3rd visit and not "up front", we like to receive payments by the 20th of the Service Month.
