STATEMENT OF WORK:
Areas
of standing water shall not be mowed, as the ground over all appearance is
most important
St.
Augustine cut lowest at 3.5 inches yearly; summer may require higher
settings.
Basic Monthly Service: (Approx.
42 Visits per Year)
Growing
Season: April thru October. Mowing
of all turf areas once a week,
in varying patterns to minimize rutting, removal of 1/3 blade height.
Dormant Season: November thru March. Mowing of all turf areas once
every other week or as needed to maintain a neat overall appearance.
Edging: Metal Edging
of all grass borders to plant & garden beds kept to a consistent
border, cement or asphalt areas with a stick edger (metal blade) to
include all curbs, patios, sidewalks, roadways
& driveways.
Weed Eater: Nylon
String Trimmer of tall grass, not mowed, around building perimeter,
sprinkler heads, etc; careful attention around Tree & Citrus Trunks,
so not to “Ring” them. Every “Other” Visit on water or ponds
edges, NO Round Up Ever Used in these Areas.
Blowing: Lawn
debris, grass clippings, dirt shall be blown in a considerable fashion so
as not to be noticeable in entrance ways or on cars, curbs, sidewalks,
patios, etc.
Litter
& General Maintenance:
Clean up and disposal of normal litter, trash & debris on Turf
Areas. Storm Damage is Extra. Excessive Litter Removal may be Extra.
Excessive litter or debris (Palm Fronds) WILL require extra itemize
billing on the Monthly Invoicing.

Which Can Be Included with Monthly Billing
Bed
Weed Control: General
Hand pulling of weeds in noticeable Bed Areas, to keep the beds in a
fairly clean state of appearance (75-85%). Round Up in areas as
necessary, not performed on windy days to prevent drift or on Water Edges,
general weed control with Round -Up in the cement crevices, bed areas, A/C
area etc. Yearly re mulching must be performed to assist in keeping the beds neat
looking and prevent weed growth.
Additional Detail Hand Weeding REQUIRES itemized monthly extra
charge.
Vines &
Ground Cover: Kept in a uniform manner, neat and trimmed off the shrubs.
Trimming
of Shrubs, Hedges & Oak Trees:
4 times yearly, certain shrubs may not be trimmed in the winter months;
trimming shall be performed in a manner that is healthy & beneficial
to the plant. Lower Tree Branches kept 6’ above ground or hard surfaces.
Oak Tree branches kept to 7-8 feet above ground height.
Premium
Palm Trimming: Premium
Smaller Landscape Palms (under 10’) such as Sago, Robellini &Queens
kept in a neat clean state, with yellowing to brown fronds removed.
Hard Trimmed Each Spring.

Mulching:
Red Mulch, Cyprus or
Pine Bark in all bed, shrub, tree & palm areas, approximately
2-3" thick. . MULCH IS THE BEST PROTECTION FOR WEED FREE BEDS!
Irrigation: Inspection (Access to pump & timer required) Repairs
due to normal wear or other repairs shall be itemized and added to monthly
billing
Spring or Fall Clean-Up:
Late February or Mid October Hard Pruning or Bed Clean Up & Mulched
Shrub
Hard Pruning: MUST be billed separate usually
performed November or March
Petite Oleander, Thryallis, Hibiscus & Crape Myrtles Trimming:
Hard Pruned late
February.
Fertilization & Pest Control:
We suggest Fertilization, Weed & Pest 6 Applications per Year
for the Turf, 4 for Shrubs, 1 for Premium Palms in Spring with a Summer
Optional if Yellowing Occurs in the Fronds. Ornamental Grasses:
Hard Trimmed to about 6” Late February to Inspire New Green Growth.
Palm
& Tree Trimming: Exterior
Taller Canary, Coconut, Sable, Palmetto & Washingtonian Palms trimmed
to a Normal 9-3 O’clock position with Debris Removal. Oak Tree Clean
outs. Failure to have Palms trimmed Yearly may require itemized
extra billing when excessive Fronds litter bed or turf areas!
